How do I redeem a Gift Certificate?
- Gift certificates can be redeemed online: at the check out page, just enter the gift certificate code. Gift Certificates can also be redeemed over the phone with a Customer Care Representative.
How I prepare the Artiko meals?
- Our meals can be prepared in a variety of ways: microwave, oven, skillet and/or stove top. Complete cooking instructions are available for all of our products on our website: just click on a product picture and then select the tab "cooking instructions".
How long do the Artiko meals take to prepare?
- Almost all of our products take 15 minutes or less to prepare. There are a few products, such as our Beef Wellington or Lobster Pie, that can take up to 45 minutes. There are things you just cannot microwave... yet.
How long are Artiko products good for?
- Items have different "best if used by" dates. Quality will remain for at least 6 months, we recommend the products to be consumed as soon as possible for the highest possible quality.
How are Artiko products shipped?
- Our products are shipped in insulated containers with dry ice. We guarantee everything will arrive frozen. More about Dry Ice and Packaging.
Where does Artiko ship to?
- We shop all over the continental U.S. We can also ship to Alaska and Hawaii but this option is priced on a case by case basis and is not available online. You will need to contact a customer representative at 1-888-278-4567 to have the shipping charges calculated.
Do I need to be home to receive Artiko's package?
- No. Our carriers are instructed to leave the package at the door unless you specifically indicate to us that it is not safe. We put sufficient dry ice in the package to ensure that the product will remain frozen until you get home that evening. More about Dry Ice and Packaging.
Can the (microwave) items be cooked in the oven?
- Most of our products offer a variety of preparation methods (microwave, oven, skillet and/or stove top), although there are a handful of items that are microwave only. Is Artiko's food safe for people with food allergies?
- Our kitchens prepare our products with the utmost care to avoid cross-contamination between successive production batches. However, because of the variety of items prepared, it is impossible to guarantee that traces of certain ingredients such as nuts, dairy and seafood will not be present in other products.

Where did the name "Artiko" come from? What does "Artiko" mean?
- The name Artiko was inspired by the word "arctic". Artiko doesn't mean anything, we just think it sounds cool (no pun intended).
What if my order arrives damaged or thawed?
- All claims for items delivered thawed or damaged must be placed within 24 hours of delivery either via phone at 888-278-4567 or via email to customercare@artikochef.com.

What if I am not 100% satisfied with our products?
- If an item does not please your taste buds, we will gladly send you a replacement item of equal or lesser value.
